The Castle Museum of Belesta
The Château-Musée de Bélesta is a museum of prehistory in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. Based on the collections from the archaeological site of the Bélesta cave, you will discover an exhibition of these discoveries presented in a playful way in the old medieval castle of the village. Authentic objects and life-size reconstructions allow you to imagine life in the Neolithic period (reconstruction of part of the cave with characters).

The Yellow Train of Villefranche-de-Conflent
Symbol and pride of the Catalan Pyrenees, the Yellow Train connects Villefranche-de-Conflent to Latour-de-Carol over a 63 km route and climbs 1200 metres in altitude to the station of Bolquère, the highest in France at 1593 metres. This 3-hour journey offers an exceptional view of the Têt valley and the Cerdagne plateau.
